Howdy!

Im making a vehicle, but, it requires a rip cord to start.
Is this possible to make in Halo?
(A rip cord is like a old lawn mower starter)
So, ye, is this possible?
You get in the vehicle and it wont do anything, you pull the rip and it turns on.

I dont realy want the biped to turn it on while in the drivers seat.
I can make it like that, but i dont want to.

Can it be, theres no one in the vehicle when its turned on?
So you walk to the back of it, rip the cord, and hop in.
Then when your done, get out, and turn it of by a switch?

So thats sitting in it with it being 'off'

But what about someone else pulling the rip?
Or would that affect the person inside if someone else did it?

And you say a gunner like seat? Does that mean I will need to make the seat the gunner like one and set the nodes for that?

Or what?

Your going to have to explain this in detail please.

Consider the scorpion, when entering, there's an animation of the hatch closing after the cyborg climbs in. Customize animations for your vehicle's chord being pulled, and the player pulling it and climbing in

I want someone else to be able to start it once someones inside!

I'm stumped. Neat idea, though. Maybe another seat for the starter, and a script that unloads the seat when the animation is finished

Theres a time wait in halo scripting.

Hmmm...

You enter the seat. It shows the animation of the rip cord.
After a small time it as you said, unloads the seat.

Are there varibles that you can set?

Using that you could do some kind of.. if VAR1 = 'on' ...then it could trigger that script.

*Shouts with all his might* KIRBY! I need your talent. Can this work?

Seat to enter cause's the rip cord.
After a small time.. the time it takes for the animation, it dismounts the seat.
After the code for the dismount is done it triggers your script.


Would that work?
