I was working on the H3 Sniper, and the ammo cartridge is separate to the actual sniper.
How do I link everything w/o having more then one parent node?

Because on the regular sniper, the cartridge is separate too, but it isn't shown on the select list. Its like linked to the nodes, but a separate model sort of. I'm slightly confused about it. Is there a way to merge the sniper and cartridge yet keep the nodes/model separate or something?

hi, you need multiple frames or it will suck. the imported model is rigged. this is a pain in the ass to rig a gun so we separate the parts of the gun and link it to nodes for animation.

hm.. I don't really understand what your saying... (Yes I'm a 3DS max nub)
I understand its rigged, but multiple frames? (no idea how to make those).

I actually did link it to the nodes. I had the sniper cartridge linked to two nodes which were linked to the sniper model (everything was) and I got the error that means you have more then one parent node.. so I'm not really sure.


Also, the sniper (and a few other weapons) are like, away from the pointer thing.. (bad explanation... heres a pic)
