I took a pic of a HUD showing the recticile i want. but how do u get the recticile out of the picture without harming the recticile itself?

im no expert, but i would say you could use the magic selector thingy in photoshop to select the reticle itself, and git rid of the rest.

I dont really understand what it is but i can try out every tool that selects in photoshop

I think he means the magic wand (that is what it's called in the program i use). Its called the select by color tool in gimp.

ok.... you could.... re-draw it... put a piece of paper on your screen and trace it.... if its too light to trace, adjust contrast... or you could just use photoshop... show us all the screenie.... it could help if we knew exactly what you need to take out

Anyway, you take a screenie for reference, and re-draw it in phototoshop.. kinda obvious..

The question asked how to create a reticle from a reference picture. and the guy said to rip the bitmap using hek+. Smart people...

Just open adobe magic wand the reticle, zoom in 500% set tolerance to 255 hold ctrl and select the missing pixels

No it is because you people have not yet learned how to behave in public and it is not my place to teach you. I am a moderator not a babysitter. Having someone watch every single post in real time would not change the people’s bad behavior.
