There server is experiencing hardware problems. I am working on it and have restored most of the sites with the exceptions of the Halo CE website to a backup server. I am working on the problem and will let you know when everything is back up an working again.

Sorry for the outage.

I was pretty bored all day because of this, but it's good to see it's semi working again.

While this was down, I got a heaping full of Living Dead in Halo 3. Infection FTW!

Thanks Dennis, at first I thought you were finally getting sick of us. I too, was bored all day. No good servers on Custom Edition.

I know how you feel ODX. Some people were annoying me on Halo that I sucked because I felt like shooting them instead of running them over, then they miss with a rocket launcher inside the base...

Agreed. I thought it was hacked, and I got worried.

And from my Zombie adventures...

So, Dennis, is something going on with the CE website? I can't download any files.

I am glad you were working on it, i knew it would be up eventually.

I am actually amazed such a busy forum hasn't had more problems then this.

keep up the good work

It does, every day around 6PM

Are you talking about forum problems or member problems when everyone comes on?

The hardware problems have been sorted out and the websites are back on the original (repaired) server. From the looks of the traffic many of you are making up for lost time and at the time of this writing there are over 97 people downloading. The file archives are pumping out the maps as fast as they can so please be patient and expect slower download speeds with that many people.

I never realised just how unplayable HCE is without sites like these, glad that it's back up.

Dennis really was smart opening up a site for halo custom editon. without this place halo ce would not be even as active as it is.

yay for dennis! and also, nice to see the site up and running. I didn't think it was hacked.. cheatsman did :P this site seems a bit too secure to be vulnerable to hackers

Oh yee of little faith. A one day outage while I repaired/replaced a network port to the back end LAN and you are all "oh my the website is gone, what am I going to do". If you want to show your gratitude for our uninterrupted service since 2004 then click the donate button on the website.

Trust me Dennis I would if mum would let me. And anyway. idk if you live in britain or not, so pounds would be useless to you.
Pounds spend as well as Dollars or Yen and Paypal will do the conversion. It is not required to donate but it is the charitable thing to do.

I'd pay for many things if I was older than 14 and had my own credit card.
