I downloaded the ripped brute models from halo 2, and i got it rigged. I was thinking of improving it and releasing to the public, but when i tried to compile it, but all tool says is ###brute.JMS. what to do now? Maybe i did converted to mesh two times in a row or something, so it doesnt export, but i dunno, any help?

no in debug it says:
05.16.08 13:29:46 tool pc 01.00.00.0609 ----------------------------------------------
05.16.08 13:29:46 reference function: _write_to_error_file
05.16.08 13:29:46 reference address: 42ca20
05.16.08 13:29:46 No More Errors For Tools By: {TLS}Udie

and it just says ###brute.JMS, and after that, i see the C:\Program files\etc..

It usually does that when the model tag already exists, delete teh brute.gbxmodel then recompile it.

U have to give tool.exe time to analyze the .jms file. when the ###brute.jms pops up, that means it found the file and is compiling in a .gbxmodel. It takes a while depending on wats in the .jms file. So when it says ###brute.jms, leave tool alone so it can compile

open the jms, remove everything before and including startjms and everything after and including endjms, save it and it should work, oh and stop using chimp.
I don't think there's another exporter..

nope, no startjms, end jms or whatever, but when u convert something to editable mes twice, it doesnt get exported right? Maybe ill just copy the biped, and apply it the model again.

EDIT: I watched some extra tutorials, but they all use a vertex weight injector to export, and you need a gbxmodel for that, and thats just the thing that it cant do. The jms is 4 kb, and if i do one without the biped bones, its almost 900. I hate this. Maybe someone else could get it ingame for me?
