pics for ironclad.
Keep in mind I run the Perspective viewport at a FOV of 70, instead of the default 45.

Total triangle count as of right now is 3,210.
It's still a WIP.

Also what's the name of the thing that I stole off the assault rifle, because I have no clue.

I like it a lot, for the most part. The bit of geometry covering the scope seems to be a little bit pointy though, and would probably obstruct view to some degree. When your finished modeling it, I would animate it for you if you wanted me to.

Have you not seen what he has been trying to accomplish?

I seems to me that doesn't matter to him. And I think I remember him saying at one point his sniper rifle may be reduced to a lower poly for ingame. He's doing it because he can. He wants it to seem like what it should be in my eyes.

All of his weapons should be in this link, and other pages shown in it. http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g268/martynball/

Hey guys. I haven't posted anything in quite a while. I recently decided to just start modeling something and found a nice picture to work off of. Here is what I came up with:

Reminds me of the boxy weapons I do.lol. It looks good detail wise, but fix the handle. It doesn't look like the best thing to hold in the world.

Before anyone jumps at me, yes I am still using GMax, and yes my 3DS Max is still messed up. This should help you understand why i either can't get a good renderer, or the renders that do work are a bit messed up themselves. Anyway, moving on...

MP5 Perspective

MP5 Perspective 2 (Magazine)

MP5 Front (Barrel, Sight, and other stuff)

MP5 First Person (w/o FP Arms)

And to those who still ask why I don't render, this is why:

I still don't understand why this happens, nor do I understand how to fix this or how to properly use Rendersuite for GMax. Until then...

Just a suggestion. The MP5's back handle needs to be just a bit more boxy. Yours is too round :D

I positive it is. Remember, unless it's like the movement of the orphandle, you are removing a magazine and putting a "new" one in. Still it could be like the orphandle or the way I just explained.

I couldn't tell ya why people want to see it here, but showing the wire shows your ability to create good topology and shows that an artist understands how to properly model.
