I positive it is. Remember, unless it's like the movement of the orphandle, you are removing a magazine and putting a "new" one in. Still it could be like the orphandle or the way I just explained.


It doesn't have to be. Bungie's models are all one pieces, but are rigged to different nodes.

yeah most of the proportion issues are just me trying to mash as much of the model into a 1024x768 render

Its off reference. The hammer is longer then that. and some of the scaling is messed up on some parts.

ok 3rd time now, its the perspective in which im viewing it in. if you want ill make a gif of it rotating so you can see its not too small. ask yourself something, with all the little details in there, wouldn't i make sure the handle, by far the easiest part of the model, is the right length?

oshi my friend you have just opened a bad can of worms. im not being lazy, infact i originally rendered that out just to show arby and icee, but then i decided there might be something wrong, so i posted it here. im actually modeling other stuff right now too, but since you insist, ill go make a good render....
edit: and HERE it is. model was not altered in ANY WAY, just 4 omni lights, a skylight, rendering with catmulrom, default light tracer solution, and a clone of the model with a push modifier of 0.05, and a red material set to wireframe only. if thats lazy, then your an omish

all i see is the handle being too long. everything else looks good. if you would, circle the problems and then comment, it would be appreciated
and the head too i think... just needs to be a bit longer

The area between the blade and the main bulge needs more tech. And the bottom disc of the hammer is slightly moved to the front.

imo it would look better if only the very bottom pollys on the round part at bottom were blue ( like the half sphere part ) and it should glow the same as the rest of the blue parts.
And the part that chains pointed out at bottom that material should be applied to the main cylinder where the extruded part meets it.
Other than that i like it :)

The wood looks bad. The metal's fine, but the wood on the grips looks really fake. Also, too much glowing stuff.
