It will be pointless to have the details in the skin. It won't do anything unless there small details like scratches.

actully i change my mind im just going to add textures to the old one it i think the original is fine

also u add a glass shader to the "modified shader" in every weapon, vehicle, biped, tag. and add the bump map into that

ok spartan 94 i dont know how to bumo map and also how do i make an overlay of the textures like the bitmaps for

how do i do that. i mean how do i get a sheet with the shapes of my rifle? Like that bitmap.

its from a render of the unwrapping. in the model, go to modifiers and click on the Unwrap UVW. Unwrap your model. then go to tools in the unwrapping window. and render it. you should get a blank untextured layout

aren't bump maps just normal textures that APPEAR to be 3d? Couldn't you just slap the textures on as normal textures?
