Thanks, glad you guys like it. I hope to maybe see it in some upcomming maps. Unlike half the other members of this forum, I don't care if you just toss it in an ai mod :D

I'm thinking I'll revamp more h1/h2 weapons since I'm not too busy this week. And I mean make them more custom, like how I did with the m6c. Anyone have any preferences?

I don't think you got the picture. I'm not going to fully redo any of them. I'm not that great of a modeler or skinner, but I'm willing to add on to them and make them more custom. I'm not going to make a whole new tagset lol.

Not touching the flamer at all because its just an overall pain in the butt to animate . If no one comes up with a better/more fun for me (haha) suggestion then I'll revamp the h2 shotty with new anims, altered skin, and maybe a cool attachment if anyone has any ideas.

none of those would really make any sense for a shotgun. I don't think there are many attachments that would actually make any sense for a shotgun to be honest.

I guess a lasersight is a possible attachment, but I'd rather put a laser sight on the BR to be honest.

actually in rainbow six i attach a scope to the shotgun, not to aim, but to see my enemies at longer distances (pretty much like the integrated scope you got in halo2 /3)

Martynball did that though, remember? How about an AR with an intricate (differently designed) silencer, 3D Display, and grenade launcher? That would be interesting....I think....but I doubt that the 3d Display is even possible.

Yeah I'm leaning towards darkhalo's idea. I'm no expert modeler though so the grenade launcher would be very simple.

tomorrow is my last day of school for the term so i may be able to see the rest of them when you show pictures or post a download id really like to see what you can do with weapons i think the weapon looks and handles great.

I don't really want some sort of new Halo 1 Assault Rifle, unless you were to make it shoot like the Halo 3 one. It's annoying how it fires so in-accurate, maybe a new addition to the SMG?

I don't want any help. This is for my practicing benefit, and a gift to the community. Besides animating is kind of my thing :P . Also, the project I took up is an assault rifle with a grenade launcher and laser attachment. I modeled a silencer for it, but then I realized... A grenade launcher completely defeats the stealthy purpose of a silencer, besides I don't have a unique sound tag for it, so the only weapon i will make silenced will probably just be the pistol.


Does anyone have any idea how it could balance out? I'm thinking a 48 round clip with low-medium firepower and RPM, and the grenade projectile will be about half as damaging(against cyborg armor) as a frag.

I would say 50 on the mag to make it completely even and low-medium firepower, and the GL damage would be a third as powerful as a frag+area damage.

The laser attachment isnt a projectile. Its a laser pointer.


Also, here is what the AR looks like. I've codenamed it the MA5DGL

Ignore the display. In game it probably will not have a 32 round clip. Also, the laser WILL be transparent in game, I just didn't feel like setting up the shader for it.

The grenade launcher should replace the foregrip, not go on the bottom of it.

look again, it does. I did'nt want to mess with the AR's profile too much so I made the grenade launcher attach upwards into the area where the grip was.
