I call it

Senonitor (sentinel+monitor)
being bored, i was messing around with the sentinel model. and it hit me, make a new type of sentinel. i based it on 2 ideas:

1. Flood outbreaks on other installations were becoming massive, so it created new kinds of sentinels to control the flood. and it combined the power of a monitor, with the speed and agility, and defence of a sentinel.

2. On some other Installation, the monitor of the installation, used its power as leader, and combined itself with a sentinel, creating this new type of forerunner robotic.

I got it animated enough to go ingame. I just need to animate the death animations. I also made new garbage tags, so when its destroyed, along with sentinel parts, montior parts also break off.

It reminds of me what Medicant Bias might look like..that hologram on epitaph looks like that in a way.

It does not have any feet, let alone two, so therefore it is not a biped.

tool wont like that, its just two instanced models that aren't properly attached.

its already been through tool, and it works perfectly in sapien. just needs death animations and im done :D. i already animated some of the other stuff. and the monitor and sentinel are a biped tag :D.

It looks like you just merged a monitor with a generic sentinel. Try to mix it up a bit, and "Blend" the monitor into the sentinel.

Yes nt :D I use that tool tool. I tried lockdown. wow.. over 20 million errors. Lagged the shiz out of my pc. And it looks just like the hev.

Blend the models... Atleast edit the skin so it blends

Looks OK. It looks kinda fat, and smoothing isn't very good.

Oh, wow... Looking back on that... That was a piece of crap.

Anyway, smoothing isn't done, just started to redo the body, so ignore the boxy thing beneath the helmet, I'm going to add more polies to make him less of a box soon.

I would have something to show, but unfortunately the 3ds 7 Trial ended and I can no longer work on it. :(. It was really just a modified Hunter anyways.......

The flat hair and goatee are for some of the hair texture to go onto.

Antenna bitmap and armor detail map are pretty much the only things left to do on this thing.
And for the record, every bitmap on the biped shown has been edited in some way. Yes, even the multipurpose maps.

add it into the widgets of the biped, copy the widget from the warthog, the cyborg already has an antenna marker

First character I've ever made fully myself. Model, hi res sculpt in mudbox, unwrapping, textures, the lot. Usually I just do unwrapping and textures, so this time it was a bit of an experience.

All up, the main character is 4017 triangles and the egg is 830 triangles, so it fell below my initial poly budget which is great.

You can see some wierdness with the shadows and the alpha planes on the tentacles, but that's just because of my volumetric light interfering with alpha raytracing. I don't really know how to fix it :/

I don't think so, unless it was scenery or the creature throws the eggs at you. Can AI spawn like that anyways? By "throwing" the eggs?
