there any chance of making the flood infection forms going into corpse to re-animate them like Halo 2 or mutating humans and covenant into combat forms like Halo 3?

i dont think it would work coz of halo ce engine doesnt allow mutation and infection.....
and isnt it good enough for the flood just to feed on you?

no it sucks i want it to go inside the corpses so it cant re animated them like Halo 2 and it was also said that they can ride vehicles in Halo 2 as well

In halo2, they were controlled by a gravemind, which controlled them and knew how to operate vehicles.

so that means they can drive even warthogs for example and ride pelicans and even gun the turrets

Lots and lots of scripting. and a custom re-infection animation. Somehow have the infection form seek out dead flood bodies, then go on top of them, dissapear, have the body be deleted, then make a new flood spawn in its place and go through the animation, then make it go around normally. I have no idea if any of that is possible. Maybe in a cutscene, but in gameplay multiple times? Ugg...

You could probably make a script with c++ to do that. I am learning C# right now.

cc+ is a cutscene tool first of all

and 2nd, how do i make bipeds move to spot by script also for a cutscene with armymen bipeds for the sp map ima making

C++ is a programming language, first of all, and for making bipeds move, you need an actor varient, and use a command list

C++ is used for applications made for Halo. The scripts to write stuff into halo is using notepad and the .hsc file format

no imean how to move in a frickin cutscene a biped such as cyborg_cinematic was able to move in cutscenes of halo but what script allows u to move the character

u cant make cutscenes in halo ce. only a camera flying around the place. something about bungie and gearbox taking out the code to make cinematics

Uh.. No. Bungie took out the code for making recorded animations.. i.e. the pelican's flying in campaign, some other stuff. You can make cutscenes in haloce... there are even a couple mp maps that have them when you start.

bungie pre records cutscenes. then they use a code to make it play when activating a trigger.

Couldn't you just script the infection form to be able to sort of "bump possess" the fallen biped?

well, heres my theroy, if you make a biped for a human combat form smaller than a marine biped(or make the marine bigger) and have the marine scriped to drop the flood biped as dead which would be inside the marine and when introduced to a infection form, marine biped would disappear and the infection form would bumppossess the dead flood biped and it would be scripted to return to life when bump possessed.

no ur wrong.

since halo 1 they where controlled by a gravemind if it wasnt they didnt attack us

u mean the tank form, or the pure forms? cuz if its just a tank form, its possible. but the transforming part might not be possible
