Hey I found this model of an elephant

can someone turn it into a vehicle? Or at least a .gbxmodel with a collision geometry and animation

oh my god im not an expert at 3ds but that will take forever and it would make tool crap its pants never the less if i make anything its gonna be public for sure becuase i feel like i would be stealing knowledge from the furoms if i didn't

thats like the 5th time ive seen those fail models posted. those google sketchup models that have hundreds of errors fail. there not even accurate. and there unable to be animated.

An elephant would be cool. but would it be possible to make it so that when placed, it would automatically come with vehicles within it. this would require several elephant variants. but the point is the fact that coding could be applied so that these vehicle spawns would come with it.

i wonder if i ould ever make a map to use it. i am designing a map easily large enough. but the vehicle would be way overpowered.

i was surprised there are no Troop Transport Hog models around. i plan onmodifying a warthog when i get the skill to work like the Halo 3 TT Hog, but iw would look like a prototype Halo 1 model. it would be sort of large and in fact the back would be extended for size, plus giving it a second rear axle. it also contributes to the look of the prototype vehicle.

something i am going to make in that map is a pelican version. the magnets on the overhang have been removed and the platfor extended, but this is to allow the usage of a gun turret without blocking the ability to get in, giving no extra seats. the problem is, the gunner in this position would clip into the vehicle and be useless. would it be possible for it to be seen in first person, because this would be a very interesting and realistic view. it also eliminates the want for a reliable system to have the pelican carry other vehicles.

To make a vehicle spawn in it,

create marker named #mongoose or whatever.
create a script which spawns said mongoose and teleports it to the marker and attaches it. Now, to make it drop XD.

is there some way to bond mobile scenery and a vehicle? then you could just make a section of it the vehicle parts, with the seats and moving sections. then take a piece of scenery that can move freely, and "weld" it to the elephant parts. then you have an elephant. if you welded the vehicle spawn to this scenery, then the spawn would always be on the elephant, landing on the scenery platform, give or take several inches due to motion of the elephant. i don't know if it is possible to have mobile scenery, or "weld" things together. if you don't know, the weld is a matter of a script demanding that something be in this position relative to something else, effectively making these things welded in their spots.

i assure you many elephant variants could be created, with various turrets, bays, vehicle spawns, weapon spawns, jump seats, and all that jazz. from a mobile vehicle base, to a barracks, to a battle platform. entire maps could be based on elephants.

but see, the elephant moves so slow, that i do not think such bouncing is an issue, correct?

it will sync, but at such speed, jerking and lag arent reall problems.
