Whoops, fixed the link, try it now

Yay, tried to do the (url='www.blahblahblah')words(/url) but after trying twice, realised that it automatically adds http:// to the address because it was making http://http://www.moddb.com. Heh.

Started work on a Mobile Gun System type vehicle, very obviously M1128 Stryker MGS influenced.

Here's a 3d view

And some pics:

The hull is pretty much an outline to get the shape down, and I'm for sure gonna do something else with the hatch, but I think I'm okay with the gun and its related stuff sans elevation mount. Buuut, I'm not sure where to go with that part. I do like how the wheels turned out though.

That's an indirect fire vehicle though. Artillery if you will. What I am working on is a direct fire vehicle, the kind that works around infantry.

That's closer to what I'm doing.

Updated the shape on the hull a bit more, and reworked the turret a bit.

here is p3d

E: Also looking for ideas for detail bits to put on there to make it less flat and plane looking. Becuase all I've got for ideas so far is tow hooks, some luggage racks, a grill, and viewports.

Unfortunately this is a bit of a wall, because most military-use vehicles are very angular by design. Anything you might need for storage is usually on the inside; Tow hooks aren't common features on APCs, grills are usually armored and angled so as to prevent bullets and whatnot from damaging the internals - which, as a side effect, ever so slightly reduces the silhouette; Viewports are small, few, and far between - the absolute bare minimum to maintain visibility in case of external camera failures.

Well, yes, but it still needs to look more interesting than an angled box. I do get what you mean, but what I'm talking about is, say, a stock M1A1 Abrams MBT versus a M1A2 with ERA and TUSK or whatever on it. It's a blank vehicle, but it's got a bunch of stuff on it.

Added (read:shamlessly copied) front thing like the H:R scorpion has, though not too sure about the side parts of it. Also on the right is two jerry can holders, on the left is a thing for tools or whatever. On the back corners, and most of hte way to the front are places to attach hooks/chains for air pickup/drop or whatever.

Oh and the viewport looks terribad and I'm re-doing it later.

can happen :P, but yes I'm MrTimm / MrTaxikiller / Taxikiller, whatever name you want to call me. I want to apologize for the lack of activity on answering but I had some big setbacks on the mod, and school is taking allot of time, now I'm in the middle of moving to a new house. So when I'm settled I'll try to get this model up for download.

Doesn't the regular Pelican have major flares too though?
