In almost every map I download, I can't see the water. I downloaded hydrolysis and blood islands, but the water is invisible except for the waves breaking on the shore. I have no clue what the problem is. Any ideas? LOOK AT THIS OH MY GOD LOL!

Thats how it looked on my old computer. Although it only happened in CE. Fast shaders maybe? It only fixed when I got my new computer...

I'd rather go without than take what you'd bring.

This guy has a bad video card.

Take a look at the pistol. It is blatantly obvious that this guy's video card is bad, because the cubemap on the pistol does not show.
Now, since all water is only a bumped cubemap, that does not show either. There were experimental shaders for Fixed-Function cards that would allow those players to see "water", but they were never finished/applied.

Also, the FP hands do not have coloring, unless this guy always uses white.

Because: A: The map is Hydrolysis, B: There are boats in it.

On my old computer (which had the same problem) I could see the water, but only in the PC version and never on CE.

What video card do you have? What Operating system? Have you updated the manufacturers video drivers to the latest version. Have you turned off or set to application controlled the Anti-aliasing setting in your video driver? This is definitely a video issue.

I don't have the problem anymore, I got a new computer, it was the first guy who needed help.

the real problem is ur pc sux, just buy a new gfx card, good that u already did lol
