i'm stuck in the second room with the half-wall of glass that you have to get the box over to open the door.

I've watched a few videos of people doing this, but can't figure out how to reproduce it.

- I've tried tossing the box over the wall, but I can't get enough momentum for it to fly very far.

- I've tried putting portals in the ceiling/floor to get enough momentum to fly over the wall, but no luck. in the video i watched, the dude put a blue portal on the ceiling behind him, and an orange one on the floor in front. so when you fall through, you are moving forward towards the wall. in midair, he then shoots a blue portal in front, so when you go through the orange one already on the floor you should popup through the ground.. only problem is you end up coming though the wrong way (towards the back wall).. looks like you have to turn yourself as you come up through the ground, but i've tried turning left/right and moving forward/back and neither combo seems to get me over the wall.

ideas?

Hope I read you right, if you need to get your cube over the glass wall to put it on the button to open the door then simply:

1. come up to the glass wall as closely as you can, look down and fire a portal, let it be the orange one

2. look up to the ceiling and fire the opposite portal on it, let it be the blue one


3. come back to the orange portal, look down and go through it - as you have come out of the blue portal from the ceiling be quick to fire the blue portal on the floor, so you fall through it and out of the orange portal near the glass wall. This way you'll achieve the needed momentum to fly over the glass wall. When you're there, fire either portal to get back to pick up the box and put it on the button.
