Ok guys, now i can make maps and that all,
now i tryed a new one
and i had this error when i compile it...

mesh definition vertex normal invalid: (-1.000000, -1.000000, -1.000000)
couldn't parse definition #1
couldn't parse file 'c:\program files\microsoft games\halo 2 map editor\data\sce

what does this mean?

pls help quick!

I'm pretty sure this refers to the Levelroot make sure everything has been done properly. And make sure the root is not hidden and does exist!

i have in Perspective view that im like X1278134651 and Y 1762378146 and Z 0
how can i fix that?!

I don't understand what you are saying, but try selecting all and pressing Z.

no no,
i mean in Perspective view,
my camera is in X 18634016 Y 1863781 but ok dont matter with this topic,
what can be the error?
because its not tjhe levelroot,
i put in right name,
connected it,
it is even in middle!

Both of you need to start showing me pics, I'm trying to help but because you don't have the lingo downn it's farily difficult for me to understand you (and you guys to understand me). Post pics of your stuff in Max and your compile windows if you are getting Errors, this will greatly help me, and I'll make a quick run-threw tutorial to help you both.

these errors all started when i followd the second Tutorial of Armoman,
hope it has nothing to do with that!
(btw the Levelroot is 1 size,
so you dont see it :P and yes i know you cant see it in the map itself!)

normally,
it has lights to! but i dont know what to export it and that all,
and yes this is a diffirent map, then the Amial.
but i just tryed it again!
still errooorrrsss! >.<

and then with the picture of compiling,
it comes, gived the first 8 lines of text, then very quick the last lines, and then when thats done it dissapears

Did you manage to get it fixed ? Cause I`m getting the same errors on my map and I can`t manage to make it work.

Well, not exactly, but i know a way how to avoid it
create a new map
and everytime that you made something extra's
like the first time the ''outside'' walls you save it
Compile it and check it out
and if it works you save it again (with a .Max)
and says what it is like : Gara MAIN (works)
and then with Main i mean the main walls,
where the level wil be in.
and then you create the basis and all that other
and when you get that strange compile error,
you know what you did wrong!
last time i had it when i made a cave, that whas outside the map, and gone trough the box itself
then it gave me that error
so when you craete somethign new, and that thing is finished, save it and check it
so when you do something wrong you know exactly what you did wrong
this is what i do,
to stop the error.
