Im new to halo 2 map editor, and i was following this tutorial:

and when i try to compile the .ass file, i get this error:

wat am i doing wrong? plz help

well im not sure what it is, but do you have a b_levelroot?
a Sphere? (NOT HIDDEN)?
and do you ahve the right Materials?
+sky?
and other materials?
check that all out, otherwise check the tutorial again if it is needed

and i have the allmost the same error, but then Definition 1 XD

i got another problem, it says that the file is corrupt and cannot be loaded. What do i do now?

uuhhmm... did you when you got the .ass file, did you compile AND light?
becuase on this link : http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm?page=topic&topicID=22464
it doens't says that the light is been ''added''
so you did only COmpile,
Compile it again and do Compile AND light
that is the third option
and then set the Light Switch thing to ''Checkerboard'' becuae that is the easyest way to edit the map in Sapien, and when you want to publish the map you should compile the mapa again, but this time LIGHT only, and then set it on normal.

if this doensn't then i dont know.

EDIT:no lights found - no photons to cast - no light to map!
it says this on the bottem of the Compile,
so that means you did only Compile!
dont worry compile it again but this time with light!
''Compile and light''
