CLS GRUNT is making sandtrap, h3mt made narrows and it got leaked, someone is making high ground, I saw a rats nest and someone else (sigma I think) is making epitaph.

*Sandtrap
Epitaph
*Foundry
Narrows
Guardian
Rats Nest
High Grounds
Valhalla

The maps that are bolded are the ones ingame.
The maps with a * are textured.

Sandtrap is the farthest map in production, by Gwunt.

If they are working on all of this map ya isnīt anyone working on Halo 3 biped like COB, EVA, ODST, Hybusa, security and for the elites Commando, Flight, Combat, Assault and Astedic.

Y is anyone NOT working on this.

PS: I tried making the Commando helmet but.... well..... I lost my EYE balls looking at it in game.

it's not difficult, there is a youtube vid of a guy showing recon armor parts welded on a halo 2 armor, it's just that people don't want to. the people who wants, are too lazy to learn it.

nice job nugget, the elite is finally showing progress.

Thats how the WM Combo man cannon worked. The VV mancannon is just a scenery with damage effect on it I believe :V
Its actually more difficult to script in a mancannon, but its more accurate at launching you in one direction.

that would hardly sync well anyway..A vehicle with a script is the best idea..Its also in ZTeams Coagulation i believe..But ofcourse there is dozens of other ways that syncs different..I say try them all.

And no, hes not making a full blown Mark VI Armor set.

All he made was:

Security Helmet
Hayabusa Helmet
Mark VI Helmet
ODST Boots
Elite Combat Helmet

Most incomplete.

I saw the vid of H3MT's Foundry, and I must say that it wasn't that good. I have a friend who did a better job, and he's got the renders and stuff on his DeviantArt page.

And speaking of armor welded to some guy's chest, I made an original armor permutation:

I'm calling it Pilot armor, and it has two kinds of chest permutation. I couldn't decide which was better so I included both in the render.

Yea that vid is old, and it won't be released for a long time 'cus it seems they're working bigtime on their overall tags... but it looks good.

Nice model too, head could be a bit thinner, overall looks nice.

Well, if this will ever be rigged for an ingame purpose, it'll definitly have contributed to this topic =P

lol I made it more for animation or machinima purposes, but seeing it in-game would definitely be cool. It just needs to be rigged, and textured... (Gah, I can't seem to find out how to UVW wrap/unwrap or whatever. Nor does MAX seem to do the correct thing...) and I need to weld all the armor together. In that render it's nothing but the perms floating very close to the Chief model. Not to mention that the neck just stops inside the helmet; they aren't connected or anything.

I actually found a glitch with UVW Map, myself...

Normally if you extrude walls, create a building via plane modeling, and you try to UVW Map it, the wall (vertical) surfaces end up stretched while the ground (horizontal) surfaces are perfectly fine; if done in plane or box map, that is... Whereas, if you do it in Cylindrical (cap), plane, box, and face, in some odd order, you can map everything at the same exact ratio, regardless of it's XYZ axis... I've never determined an actual order, I just start mapping them at random, and eventually everything ends up perfectly mapped at the same ratio. It's pretty strange, if you ask me; but very convenient.

I use Max 9, so it may be a glitch only with 9; if anyone else has encountered it, though, on another version, that'd be worth acknowledging...
