Ok, so I have Halo CE (custom edition) and i'm wanting to play single player (campaign) mode. I've downloaded a UI and placed it in the maps folder and i've downloaded several singleplayer maps and put them in there with it.

Here's the problem...

When I start up my game and click campaign, the difficulty window pops up afterwards. When I click my difficulty, then press ok or w/e, nothing happens. No map chooser comes up or anything. It just doesn't go anywhere and the only thing I can do is go back.

I've tried two diff UI from this site and the problem persists. I've read the article on it here and it doesn't help at all. In fact I don't understand what an article on screenshots has to do with setting up your game for singleplayer. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You need to download the single player maps as well as having a campaign enabled UI.
You also at least need a10.map for it to work.

I do have the singleplayer maps...I said that in my post. I've downloaded several different ones off the site.

Also what's a a10.map?

the first map you play on in single player (Pillar of Autumn). Go get Renamon's campaign maps (or CMT's) and place them into your maps folder. Then type in the command to load a SP map.

IF that doesnt work just enable console, press the tilde key(~) and type in
map_name (mapname)
For example the sp map is b40
So it will be map_name b40

If you have a campaign enabled UI. You don't need to use dev to load it.
Personally, I prefer this UI:
http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=1607
It has campaign and is really cool.
Bottom of this page and onto the next for CMT's campaign:
