Well, I am almost finished with the Magmoor Caverns. I should be finishing it by this week.







I still have a few bugs to work out (such as the missile counter, it reads "75" but you only start with 2), the morphball (fixing today), the lava (burn effect. also fixing), and a destructible tunnel blockage (tried making it a destructible vehicle, but it wouldn't spawn in game. open for suggestions)

I will have some screen shots of the rest of the map (the ones above are of the first "room") later.

Dude seriously, stop quoting a bunch of pictures. You do it every time!

Bsp is kinda disappointing IMO. Seeing the weapon and biped model I kinda had high expectations.

Because its below the standards of what Metroid Online team used to have. Basicly Tallon Overworld was fun because there was a balance in the gameplay and that made it fun.

i'm still not getting it... and besides, the map is larger than it seems. it has a significantly smaller size than most other halo ce maps, but it isn't too small. it is like in between small and medium i think. not to mention i balanced the map as best i can. it is only three "rooms" but the next rooms in Metroid Prime would've taken longer to make (although it has been a while since i actually started this...)

anyway, explain exactly what you mean by "disappointing BSP"

i just finished making some more bitmaps. tell me if it looks better...

yes. that is the ice beam. but unless you were talking about the tallon overworld RC1 (i dont remember if it was or not...), no it wasnt.

also, i am looking for someone to help me with a particle system i made. it needs some fixing

Better, but not as good as it could be. That dark red just looks really out of place, and the textures on those metal platforms don't look good at all. In fact, all the metal looks far too bland and repetitive. Add some designs on the metal.

Then if some people like you still dont like my bitmaps, i need to get a bitmapper on the team.
And btw, the dark red is supposed to be there. I will try to get a good pic of that wall in Metroid Prime to show you.

The next map I model will be Phendrena, yes, but not the next release. I will be fixing up the Chozo map next. It is a map based on the Chozo Ruins.

Good because, the Phendarena Drifts is the best place in the whole game {Medroid Prime}

Yeah....good times...good times. I think the online game play for it would be better with the music from the game because, it's just not the same without it's music.
