Yeah we now have a Frag grenade.

ImBrokeRU wanted a Halo 3 Warthog explosion style so we went with that.

The Frag shoots out Spike projectiles (edited h3mt) and has a short radius, but if you are near the explosion, it will kill you.
I talked to Broke about the HUD but he's as thick as a rock when it comes to that.

Ohh, I like it very much. Great effects, ImBrokeRU.

And why not just make a team thread, rather than many different ones?

Also, I don't like the Halo 3 hud you have.

The spikes are meant to represent the fragmentation shrapnels

You could make custom sprites with pieces of metal on them. For a better effect.

Because we like them, and we're going for something different, we're tired of people trying to copy halo 2 or halo 3 and we're going for a more custom feeling, though we are copying some Halo 3 stuff.

Translation: We want the spikes to stick on people and keep doing small damage to either (a) not let your shields charge or (b) just plain annoy you, and eventually kill you maybe.

LOL, of course why should he take advice from someone who actually has had real world experience in the development of Heads Up Displays? As I have said, every time I see that abomination of a visor outline I cringe.

That Grenade explosion wins.

Please tone down the visor A TON.

I see a light ring around the explosion, like a bubble shield. Please remove it as it looks alien compared to the rest of the explosion. You can see it at 00:21.

Thats acctully very much like halo 3's visor out line. I love it. Other people make it more dark but I like it see thruish like that. More halo 3sh.

Let me just clear up the whole HUD thing. What we will use will look like this (save for the Gametype icon.) Halo 2 style.

Shield, and health meters



SMG

Battle Rifle

and Spiker

We are NOT using the visor overlay.

I think the nade effect is awesome...
The only downfall I see to it is the smoke, it's the regular halo smoke drifting away after the fire effect.
The gray halo smoke doesn't fit with a red, flamey explosion, you should make it black, or a near black color.

Actually, our hud was custom made.
