Then change the cliffs too, and the scenery as well. If you're doing a spring blood gulch, at least do it right.

-No dead trees, replace with live trees.
-Change the cliffs to a30 cliffs.
-Change the rocks to mossy rocks.

It's a shader_model whatever in the Structure BSP. Change the bitmap to another one that looks more springy.

How about gray cliffs. Look at the cliffs I set them to a30 Bitmaps Ciffs and, they turned rainbow!!!

1) Re-extract the bitmaps
2) Ignore, and compile the map. It won't look like that ingame.

not really. That is a horrible UV. Make the a30 bitmap the same shape as the BG cliff bitmap.

no, no and more no. The ground is too monochromatic, and the cliffs look stretched. And they don't look good together, and don't look good on that map.

1.) Don't ever add random bipeds to a map.

2.) Rip the cliffs from a30 and put them on.

3.) Change the sky.

4.) Go for a grass detail map, not the one you currently have. You should find it in a30 or maybe on this site too.

5.) Make more trees, but don't spam the map. Make it look nice.

I like the spring twist on the map, but having dark grass conflicting with light grass just makes it look like a sprite bottle. I think the light grass is too light compared to the darker grass

Make the light green to a dark brown mud like color and keep the grass dark green and see how it looks like. :)

make the grass the same colour, but a little lighter than the dark grass. add some more trees on the more horizontal parts of the cliffs, but just 2 or three. and bases should have some ivy growing on them. granite rocks look good btw.

verdant gulch would be a good name.

And then after you got the clifts, flowers & grass textures looking good model your owen bsp and use those textures or get someone to make you a bsp if your not a good modeler but anyway dont relese another bloodgulch please!
And dont forget to make a new detal ground map bitmap for your new bsp!

A good color for Blood Gulch is the color it already has.
