How is she when she doesn't surf?

OK, so i'm making a mine. But i need to know a few things

How do you set the projectile so it explodes after its been hit so many times?

How would i go about getting this type of effect (the light at the top of the shield):

That would be a lens flare, if you actually read the posts at modacity about this.

Don't really know. I just knew it was a lens flare. I'm a map maker, I don't make many weapons and stuff.

1) Set up the "Body Vitality" under Model Collision Geometry. Then set the "Body Destroyed" effect to your explosion.

if you read, it was made by Choking Victim. And if he made it, he would know how to do the lens flare.

Anyways, you can attach a lens flare tag to a marker in the tags.

And Sabre, projectiles dont have collision geometry.

The mine would need a model, no? Then it would need collision geometry to know if it's being hit, or if someone steps on it.

I also know that in particular, the bubble shield Cho-King victim made, had a projectile spawn a biped on impact, that's how the shield looks the way it does.

Projectiles can have Collision-Geometry, you just need to specify the collision tag in the projectile flag. The field should be right under the gbxmodel field, or under the animation field.

Just in case your wondering, projectiles can use a physics tag too. You just have to make it right otherwise it can result in some unique but unwanted effects. To have Tool make it for you, type
tool physics [.jms file directory of the model you want to use]
Just make sure you put the file you used for Collision-Geometry in a folder called physics, the collision-geometry command looks in this folder aswell.

so if I wanted to do collision geometry I would type?:

tool collision-geometry mymodels\testmodel

and that would work if I put the .jms file under a folder named "physics" in the testmodel folder?

Attachments, a .light with a .lens_flare referenced in it.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't as simple as that, something to do with actor_variants, seeing as only they can be used to spawn with camoflauge.

Projectiles can use physics? Learn something new everyday.

You would use that command for a .jms in the directory "data\mymodels\testmodels\physics"
