Relinquished, a small detailed science fiction styled map 4-8 players total probably.

Poly count- 10k
Textures- Custom
Portals- None yet, though I need them pretty bad.
Lightmaps- Modified for brighter gameplay, will be edited as the map progresses.

Also, change the middle part of the pole to be something awesome. Maybe like a color that is blue or red and have it so that its glowy.

Ehhh, too much Grey. You should add a room that is over-run with vines and trees cracking the concrete. Or with that huge opening have a forest or something.

I don't play that anymore, but only because no one else does. I still have my deck though :D

On topic: I like nexus' vines/forest idea, and I think it would add some contrast to the map. It all looks to bland right now.

Add some Secondary colours , ya'know, make it seem like the place is rusting and falling apart , vines over grown in rooms.
Some Architecture that has colour.

Stole a couple of textures from Quake 4, or so lovely game that is. Anyway, fits in because that's a sci-fi game as well. Made a new custom bitmap, not showing yet and currently waiting on lightmaps to finish..

Lazy, don't even start. Don't be immature, please? You're joining the "bad"wagon. This is a wip map thread and you guys are spamming up with epic fail guy pics and yugio cards. Stop it. Dennis, could we please clear out this spam? If it is even possible, I may even ask if you could implement a custom thread moderator. Meaning, if you make a thread, you are the sub-parent moderator of that thread. You can revise and edit my decisions, but I can choose to do things like delete some peoples posts. This would make things so much easier. Thank you if you do consider it.

I do own this thread, after all, I did make it, so I can tell people what I want and don't want in the thread, that includes spam and trolling.

No, I will not change the name, it fits the map, would have named it derelict, but guess what? There's a Halo 1 map called that.

Idgi dude, how can I make them more vibrant, when they are not monochromatic? Because they have all different colors. Not to mention 2 of them are Quake 4's (Which is sold for money, so the textures cannot be that bad)

I never said the texture's were bad, they just seam to make the map really dull. When I say vibrant I mean you should really go back and make the map have more lights and be more colorful, look at some of UT3's robot maps for an example, even is soppose to be rustic, it wouldn't look bad with a few more varaitions in color.
