Don't you think that mombasa is too big? To think it is. If I were you, I would use an enclosed part of mambasa.

I'm glad to hear something about you L0d3x. You were looking promising from the beginning. Just don't give up. :)

You don't know how big the whole map itself will be, so I don't think you can judge that by these pictures.

Custom layout means I made sure it isn't too big. The size is perfect, trust me.


Oh, OK. I thought you were using the entire map. Sorry. Also, will any of the models or anything you are going to use in this map be high poly? If so my PC can't handle high poly.

Yeah, I have a decent PC. a 2.4 celeron single core with 768 megs of DDR DIMM RAM, and a Geforce FX 5200. lol Pretty decent for halo. Still need to OC my video card.

I don't think the allies alone should determine your score. In some cases, freak Halo accidents happen and it ends in a second (plasma grenades and Wraith mortars). The AI are sometimes too stupid to get out of the way, so maybe make it end when both you and your allies die.

a) a WIP
b) a secret

its not much, but it plays halo on high with the excepton of decals and dynamic lighting

Can you please get rid of the Halo 2 phantoms. I would rather see a spirit or a h3 one. (which is unlikely so just go with the spirit)

1) Download the modified bitmaps.map file from Halomaps, and overwrite your old.
2) Extract the background.bitmap file to a TIF
3) Modify to your heart's content
4) Re-compile, OVERWRITING your old background.bitmap
5) Compile the map.

Spirits way better and I think more realistic for the covenant troop transport it emphasizes on there ability to quickly get in and out of their vehicles and into the battle ground...

Also seeing a spirit come down in the middle of battle and watching the doors open and troops come out makes me go OMG!!! every time...

phantom it kinda doesn't blend in so you see it coming earlier.

Phantoms are win, also they dont always come out of the troop doors (this cant since it doesnt even have the doors), they come out of the grav lift (like on Crows Nest).

Batch Bitmap Extractor.

And Phantoms are good, because they can carry heavier Covenant troops that Spirit's can't carry.
