hmm..........anyone thinking of adding Jackal beam rifle snipers into the map?
thought i might want some anti-sniper challenges in the map.......

One other thing, where would the "armory" be excalty? Since the goal is to protect your allies for as long as possible. I wouldn't want to go grab a gun and come back to find half my allies dead.

He reuses the same ones, so if one dies, he'll have to either a) do a script that checks if it's dead, and create a new one, or b) make it indestructible. The easier option usually wins over.

hopefully the vehicles are not too hard to destroy, they should be able to be destroyed by a direct rocket hit, and be flipped, but not destroyed by a near hit rocket...(thats for all vehicles minus the tanks, which should be able to endure 1 to 2 rockets before exploding).

Will there be hijacking?

i think hijacking would be too hard to now add it in. unless some CMT member wanted to help him (unlikely to due schedules with SPv2 + they have lives too ya know). you never know i might be wrong.

Also, would there be more than one battle going on in the city like a group of marines in one part of the city, another battle group in the other. This would be nice to have so you could experience different types of battles like infantry v. infantry, Vehc v. Vehc, Humans v. air raid, etc.

Agreed. There should be spartans helping out also. i think there should be one or two AA turrets also. That, and random battles throughout the city.

Didn't know that he is/was a CMT member.

I guess the entire city is a bit too big for a non-story based level. I don't know how much you were gonna cut out of it though, so i only had my experience of New Mombassa-based levels (the most of which are pretty huge). Still it'd be nice if you could experience different scenarios against the covenant.

Also, please don't put additional spartans, they'd be a horrible addition, due to the fact that the player would probably let 5-8 marines die just to help out one AI spartan who could probably save himself anyways.

Make it like ODST, with your stamina and lower health. I don't know if you could make a working bitmap large enough to fit the screen, which represents your stamina, but you could at least revamp the HUD.

So here comes the big decision - H3 style or ODST style?

I got some really annoying vehicles for my fanfic covenant sect called Bloodbath Covenant

They skinned red and use brute plasma bolts instead of the usual plasma bolts and they are especially hard to kill as turrets and basic human bullet based weapons don't effect the majority of their vehicles.

I still working on rigging em to add a flame effect to their projectiles.

It not really custom it just taking tags and changing them but it still makes for a very interesting sect of the Covenant.

Lolz they would make you love jackle snipers ^.^

P.S make Master chief an elite Ai hero ^.^ and you play as a marine or odst

I didn't say I didn't like them. I love fighting them, it changes the pace of the game.

It's just I was playing Halo 2 on Legendary recently and I played through "sniper alley" in Outskirts and almost killed myself from the amount of times I got shot through the head.

Give the turrets some cover, just the the Warthog's. What's worse that being pinned down by those guys, you say? Being pinned down by a hundred Frigates all pointing their MAC guns at you.

Speaking of MACs, is it possible to make a weapon wherein you call for a MAC strike?

Good, cause I don't want it either. Halo Wars was just being all random when they added that in.
I will however, have a few bonus err "helping things". To be revealed in due time.

@Eth: not on foot means vehicle action in general. You won't be using flying vehicles yourself though.
