I don't always make shaders..

Well, I finally got off my ass and got the arbiter uploaded, plus elites. This will be my first public release, however this is not my first time creating bipeds, mind you. Anyways, elites first:


(Sapien pic because I can't be bothered to go ingame and get a hi-res pic.)

Readme:

To use: Merge the tags folder in the archive with your tags folder located in the Halo Custom Edition directory.

This of course includes the Councilor and Honor Guard ranks, with proper color values from Halo 2. Included is a custom animations tag that allows elites to talk, as in, their jaws open and close when dialogue is used.

If you downloaded them and found out, you can easily allow the councilor helmet and honor guard armor to be present at the same time, just by unchecking the "is not chosen randomly" box.

This has to be the most realistic conversion made thus far. I'm going to use these in To Mock a Prophet.

E: Apparantely the tags are missing: ('tags\delta49\characters\arbiter\bitmaps\teeth.bitmap')

E2: Hang on, its in tags\characters\arbiter\bitmaps. Redirect to there.

dude omg the texture fail man why can't you make the texture a little bigger like 512x512 instead of 256x256 because low quality=crap

Depends which one. The elite's textures are split up into:

head
arms
legs
and torso

Actually, torso, legs, arms, head, and helmet.

Don't you read? I didn't make the textures, Bungie did. I never said I was remaking them, just porting them. With each shader being split up, its actually better and would appear "higher res" than if it was all a 512x512 texture.

The elites looks awesome,but the arbiter's right hand is with 2 colors,is it just the shadows/shaders or is it supposed to be like that?

i cant get these tags into my maps. whenever i try adding the actor variants in sapien, i get an error saying: not all the selected tags could be added to the palette. you selected one or more files that couldnt be loaded correctly.

contact your nearest bungie programmer for assistance.

this is the debug:

Looks like your missing the teeth.bitmap. Use it from another AI or request it from the tag maker. A lot of the tags from this website are incomplete, so be warned.

Yep, you should just look around for it, contact the maker of the tag to see if they still have it.

I don't know. Maybe not a lot of people use these tags for some reason, or maybe they where missing the tag and just gave up on it.
