Whenever I try and run lightmap in tool, i keep getting an "Out of Memory" error. I thought maybe it was my computer, tried a different computer with 6 GB ram and the same thing happened. What gives? Any way to increase its memory allocation?

did you have any errors or warnings when you ran structure?

it's usually not your computer

i'm not very good at lightmaps but the only times i get that error is if there are bad UVWs...e.g., z-buffered tris, etc...which come up as warnings when you run structure. if everything is properly textured/UVWed then i don't know...hopefully someone else will post

So it is possible to make hugeass (the map) sized maps without using hoodoo magic.

I don't see why not...i mean, a human sacrifice wouldn't hurt, but if hugeass got lit then why wouldn't any other?
