Remember the open-air scene at the end( http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/half-life/en/images/6/6a/Escape_020002.jpg )?Here's what I see: http://img203.imageshack.us/i/ss1r.jpg/]http://img203.imageshack.us/img203/5051/ss1r.jpg

And the in-game inner-walls are miscolored too: http://img7.imageshack.us/i/ss2hr.jpg/]http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/9752/ss2hr.jpg

Now this could mean there is some coding mistake with my game. But why would the sky look like a chess board then?

Well, in Garry's Mod that means you don't have the texture. Maybe your missing files?

Reinstall. Are you using a hacked version of the game?

Well yeah, I won't reinstall though, it's not that much of a big deal.

The purple and black is a meaning of missing textures in all source games, and the miscolor can also be from the .vmt files. I thought they fixed this.

Yeah, I got this in episode two (legal version) once... I used crafty to extract the textures...
Doesn't happen anymore though, even without the extracted files...

I had a problem with portal once, too, but it was just my old graphics card... I believe it was either a texture crash, or an HDR crash... Doesn't matter...

the Orange Box was probably the most glitchy release by VALVe yet...
