Hi! I normally don't do this,

However I'm a site admin at www.Halofiles.com and I found your wonderful site I was wondering would I'd be able to host your map on the site? Everything will be credited, to the mappers of course or you add them to the site yourselves. I'm sorry if this is the wrong fourm or wrong way to to do this thank for helping

Vern, realize what website you're insulting BEFORE you attempt to insult it.

It doesn't matter eh? All I'd like is to host some maps, our network was upgraded after it is File front.

You could just download the maps from halomaps and put them up on your site, as long as credit is given there shouldn't really be a problem unless some authors don't want their maps on your servers, and I don't see why that would be.

Filefront hosts more than just maps. It also hosts map packs. It also hosts many files for other games, OTHER than Halo.

The issue is I want the site to be alive again. Do you have map pack on this site as well?

Halomaps doesn't host map packs, which is why if I were to ever make a map pack, I'd post it on Filefront.

Filefront also deletes files that see no activity after some time. That is why I started Halo Maps, we don't delete older file and ONLY host Halo CE maps.

Filefront's actually a pretty nice site, I used to go there al the time. They don't get much activity though. Dennis is right though, they do delete files, which is a pain because there are a lot of dead links on the site. By the way, is missing.string/cartografer/cartobot still there?

EDIT: Oh and they don't allow rips, which basically nullifies half the CE community and is probably one of the main reasons no one goes there anymore.
