Coldsnap is a pretty cool map. But ... people are asses. They TK, they c4 team mates, and aimbots are god and unstoppable on Coldsnap due to the massive open map.

TODAY, I found it a way to stop it completely. No more sniper rifles with 920 bullets and no C4.

Start map without custom weapons.

Okay there is actually a secret. You got to your control panel, then go to add remove programs and then you click on Halo Custom Edition and select "uninstall".

That will fix all your problems with coldsnap.

I dont suppose Bungie or Microsoft will ever release the source code, like ID do with Doom and Quake.

Besides, Friendly Fire is turned off. But Coldsnap has inconsistent physics and damage. 99% of the time, a Mythos can fire a nuke at the ground and survive.

inconsistent physics, as in, sometimes the Fuel Rod Ghost will actually fly.

I can't even respect the Halo nukes now that I have seen Crysis. Someone really needs to try and make a new nuke for halo. As of now it's just a big bright lens flash.

That would be cool but is most likely not possible I assume

I used to have this problem a lot. I solved it by going into :C/WINDOWS and deleting the "system32" folder. Works fine now.
