i have installed halo CE but when i try and run halo editing kit is says thats its not installed. i have checked that it is

dont give up! just muck around with 3ds max, get some tutorials. learn how to use it! thats what i did! and i got some good maps going! atm im working on a sp map! it should be done soon, but i dont know when. lol.

take a look at this, i used it to teach me how to use gmax, i then stepped up to 3ds max:

Gmax doesn't have paint deformation if that's what your talking about.

i made the bitmap in paint and then made all the box and hid it and then when i inserted the bitmap and changed the strength it raised the plane but didn't make the shape

apparently, it can't extract the wraith textures becasue something else is using it. And no, i don't listen to music while i'm doing it.

all I need for the wraith is the wraith.physics to put into the AA wraith tag bundle. But, to actually insert the AA Wraith into my map, then I need sapien to work. It doesn't. Can someone extract the scenario from bloodgulch.map, zip it and post it and the link? That would be much appreciated. Happy Christmas everybody.


BTW, if I have made a model in 3dsmax, how do I get it into the game?

the halo scripter that i found had a feature that fixed sapien/ahobo and guerilla/kornmans guerilla!!!

how are you meant to access that feature? I really need it as both are completely stuffed on my PC. Sapien/ahobo are finding tags that I don't have, and when I find them, they come up with another error that I posted below. It's as if they are TRYIng to find stuff that's wrong with my map. Whoever made Sapien ought to be fired as they can't put a program together athat works, judging by this program

lol, the program works! Its just sensitive!!! hmmm...
try cutting the minigun out of your map, it never really worked properly ingame. lol. Someone else might be able to help you more with that, but my suggestion is above!

ok then, the map your making, are you going to upload it? or are you going to use it as a guide of what skills you need to work on?
if you are going to upload it, paste the link. Id like to see it!

ps. When i finish my sp map ill past the link so you can see it! (its not the best but its still good!)

i not making a map, im just making a mod of blood gulch to try and get used to doing it. theres already way too many bg mods out there and mine won't be special. i'll still upload it if you want though.


everything of mine like HEK is completely rooted and broken and i can't fix it. i tried what i did last time and its still broken. i hate sapien, HEK+ and 3dsmax cos they never work

yer your right, there are too many bg mods. The first map that you fully make yourself, id like to see!

i did and sapien is still really sensitive but it just works
as for hek+, when i try to extract anything it sez that another process is using the textures when nothing else is open

dont give up, if i did i wouldnt be going to QANTM college!!! im taking the graphics course!!! anyway, dont give up, everything can be fixed, you just need the right equipment...
