I was bored and tried to modify the old ring textures a bit to give it some flare.

Maybe try white lights instead of yellow ones.

Could you get that without the dark shadows in the corners? I've been looking for a texture similar to this for the ring.

invaderveex made a couple similar ones ages ago.

I fixed the bumping on the rocket launcher. It was 094's work and I didn't notice the error until you pointed it out.

wee bit too much light and not enough shadow, those hills should cast some sorta shadow for how the sun is posisitioned in the sky tag. and you could definately go higher res for the lightmaps.

This was when custom lightmap UVs were not possible yet. Now that they are you won't have to use ridiculously sized lightmap images like I did, but rather you can have different UV islands scaled up where the shadows are so you can get crisp shadows in those areas and scale down the uvs of areas that are fully illuminated or out of sight.
I used Vray at the time.
