My god... Use pidgin and install the gfire plugin to log into xfire.

Everyone who uses xfire and OS should try it sometime.

Or you do what kirby says, rename xfire.exe to something else and disable the ingame overlay.

Felt like making a forerunner bridge.... Cause of the other bridges... >.> I didn't add the glass yet. I didn't really add much detail because i thought it would look better with textures and bump maps.



Don't mind the end of the bridges it's supposed to be connected to a mountain or something. Still need more work but still.

elite project thingy progress (max render)



lolol h2 HDR.

re-worked some things, getting CAT rig setup to play with animations some moar.
-fixed dual color-change method for hce
-fixed smoothing and face stuff
-better/smoother rigging (specifically the pelvis area)

i still however havent figured out the ultra helmet permutation T-T
the shader info from h2 says it uses the default helmets textures, however it looks quite terrible. my only guess is that the unwrap is bad, but i have no clue what goes where... *sigh*

I know this. X| I just got kind of tired with working on it yesterday so i was even to lazy to even turn it on perspective... I could have added more renders too, but... like before... I got too lazy... -_- I'll put it on perspective next time... How can you guys tell?! :O I will fix the interior. It actually looked kind of plain in this render believe it or not... I know, i didn't show it yet so you guys wouldn't know. But still. Just got back so i will work on it later. I would love more critique when i add more renders. :) Oh yeah. How would you get the best looking render?

Hi guys
i actually work on a "de dust" remake for halo, if anyone is interested for help with tag and texturing...
i modeled a little part of the map


i know i have errors but it's not a big problem for the moment, anyone know where i can found css texture in .jpg or .tif ?

Just looked at the insets for the bridge. Are you not using inset plane/move/extrude to do that? If you are using chamfer anywhere on that, at least as far as the intrusions go, I suggest not using it. It looks like you did too didn't you? I have a better way to do that that creates much better results

Err... You talking to me? If you are... I guess i used chamfer on it.... Why? \:| What's the better way? What can i change, what can i improve? Can you give me an example?

Chamfer I find sometimes does not cut the edges exactly proportionately especially with non 90 degree angles. What I found works much better is to cut an outline of where I want it to normally start a chamfer, use the inset tool on the plane and inset however far I want it, then use the move by axis tool to move it along the axis however far I inset the plane by and voila. Perfect 45 degree angles every time without deformation by bad chamfers.

Yes the orginal bsp is "full error" that's why i remake it, but i dont want remake exactly de de_dust, i wanna modify it for halo. add little space or modify some place for update the map on halo. cs and halo have 2 different gameplay.



I tried to fix error on the extracted de_dust (green bsp) but im not chuck norris...
