I looked at it, theres no online multiplayer option. Only 4 players on the xbox, or system link, and Coop Campaign.

@Slayer, 12000 points is like over 9000 cents.
1200 points is about 10-13 dollars.

Interesting fact.

Halo INVENTED System Link.

When Halo came out, the xbox had the cable because they were planning for Xbox Live, though it was not yet released yet. So system link was invented and YAY.

Thank Gawd for Halo CE.

Care to tell me who did, because to the extent of my knowledge, the System Link was first created by Halo.

Halo 1 doesn't have Xbox Live, no matter what version of the game or console you have. You can play online through system link if you download a free program called Xbox Connect.

I'm sure the term "System link" was first used in Halo, but LAN for PCs and probably even consoles was waaaaay before that

The System Link was designed into the Xbox by Microsoft. I don't know which xbox game first used or programed for that functionality but Halo was the Xbox flagship game and did program for it. PC games like Doom and Wolfenstien as examples used the Lan/internet for multiplayer long before the Xbox was developed.

Oh, you people are getting on my case because LAN already existed.

When i said system link, i meant "Hooking Xboxes together and playing in one game"

LAN and system link are the same thing

system link just has a cooler title becuase M$ only cares about the cash.

LAN is conecting 2 or more pcs to gether w/ a lan cable or 2 or more ps2 or 2 or more gamecubes or even 2 or more xbox's. its amazing what you can do with LAN a.k.a System Link.

A LAN (Local Area Network) can be done wirelessly, through the same router, for example, or it could be done virtually, through the use of virtual LAN programs. Essentially, a Local Area Network is not the same thing as the System Link.

I know what a LAN is, the fact that they are the same concept means you ignore what System Link is and go straight to what it does.

When I said System Link, i was using the title of the LAN system used by Xboxes, hence referring specifically. Had I said LAN, i would be referring to all forms of LAN and be horribly wrong in my previous statements.

Breaking news, companies care about money and will market their product in a way to make it more desirable.

No, Slayer has a point. Microsoft is a bloody idiot when it comes to much of anything. The great part is, if you know what you're doing, you can mold Windows like putty.

Like how they horribly fail when it comes to selling consoles and OSes and establishing dominance in a market?

XBL to the best of my knowledge has little or no bullet lag/ping.
There will very likely never be any such patch to improve this game , because that would mean re-writing the netcode which is a long and complicated procedure , as such , they won't do it.

I never said that, I said i think alot of their stuff sucks. Internet Explorer, MS Paint, Microsoft Office, i don't care how dominant, i don't like their programs.

Microsoft Office 2010, Internet Explorer 8, and the MS Paint issued with Windows 7 are all awesome in my opinion. Though there are a few problems with IE8, I love the themes that Microsoft used, so I themed my firefux to look like it.
