are they using halo 3 weapons?? because CAD's halo 3 extraction would be worthless if they dont

Zteam didnt make it. They only helped. Its Penguin's map. And I believe its stock weapons with some graphic changes.

Wow @ first few posters, worthless.
I'm seriously wondering how classic weapons would work on that map.. Hope they put backpack weapons in ^_^

A sneak peak at the upcoming Halo Custom Edition map, Halo 3's The Pit. All Content is completely custom and created from scratch. Nothing from the actual game was used, besides the layout obviously. The goal of this project was to recreate the level The Pit from Halo 3 as accurately as possible, down to the oil spills on the floor, with nothing to help but looking at my TV while playing Halo 3. Thus far has been rather successful. Remember, this is just a preview, not all the scenery has been created yet, lightmaps and shaders are not final and this games rendering engine is old so some errors we have no control over. Brought to you by Zteam.

Most custom models and textures. Some are rips. I think all CAD is waiting for is the Pelican and Turret to be textured as far as I know.

But there is no one who will do it :/

Just because they don't use something for a map doesn't mean all the effort was done in vain.

any way trying to balance the halo 3 weapons on CE is just a waste of time. cause when they are balanced theyll be just like the classic set only diffrent looking.

no im saying thats why the classic set is going in cause wasting your time to balance the weapons for CE would just be exacly like the classic set. so w/ out hassling there just gonna have the classics.

I misread your post, and assumed you meant that it would have been a waste not to put them in. But either way, balancing them wouldn't be a waste of time, as in the end, once they are used for a map, be it a small internal beta, or a full scale public release, it'll have been worth it.

This map will use a FULL Halo 3 weapon set... why do people bum the Halo 1 weapon set so much... its stupid. Have a change for once...

Gah, you people are complete morons:

I believe there's a regular version (with stock Halo 1 weapons) and a Halo 3 version (with whatever Halo 3 set they have. Either CAD's animations for the weapons he's done, or completely ripped animations.).

Penguin modeled the map.
Con made textures and the sky
Zteam helped with all the other technical stuff
Hunter/Mr. anonymous_2009 modeled a pelican and maybe something else

Other people may/may not have contributed but I know those to be the main few.
