Ok.
Now i know there are like 2 other threads already made about this, but i actually plan on releasing this ASAP.

There is only one thing i need.

VEEX TO RESKIN THE H3R sniper model :D

then you will all get sandtrap.

A few questions you guys may have.

Q "Will it be protected?"

A Of course it will, but the BSP itself will be left unprotected so you guys can rip it.

Q" Will you be using Retail, or beta assets?"

A I will use both to achieve maximum h3ness :D

Q "When will this be released?"

A Hopefully this month, as long as it takes InvaderVeex to texture a sniper rifle.

Q "Does Veex know he has this job?"

A No he does not :P

Q "Will this actually be released, and not be for showing off?"

A I fully plan to release this soon.

It may just be Halo CE's engine, but the sand-building doesn't look right. It looks weird to me. Other than that, it looks nice.

Yes i forgot to mention i want noobkiller to edit the BSP, but that would mean re-running lightmaps (Deehunter.)

Parts of the bsp still look like total crap.
Also half the map needs to be re-materialized in max so you can have some different shaders for some of the forerunner stuff, also some of the UV's look pretty stretched. The warthog also looks like its made out of stone. (I'm guessing you did a shader/texture edit) Also Banshee texture = D:
It looks like your using TM's old banshee texture that disaster did. Also you should get rid of the clouds in the sky, and add a plane in the sky thats above the map and have something like sand going across it so that sand looks like its blowing over top of the map.

Bravo, by protecting the map, you pretty much just threw Gwunt's purpose for making Sandtrap down the drain.

In my opinion, the sniper looks fine as it is, no need to make it ridiculously detailed for no reason.

Nice to know you forgot about me. Wonder how you got those cool h3 sniper shaders >_>. Also I suggest using brokes animations for now until the final release.

E: Give me the map as I said yesterday. I can turn the whole tag set upside down with my assets.
Also this is the second time I am jumping into helping sandtrap, or third time. Last time I helped gwunty never told me he was gonna release everything open sauced which he leaked the beta assets which is old but then again I whored everything I could get my hands on.

Jesse if you are not going to release unprotected then do not release at all, the only reason I decided to let you finish this instead of keeping it to myself was becuase you promised to keep this open sourced, the original point of the project was to give a near complete halo 3 tagset to the public where eveerything can just be extracted from a single map file. Please do me a favor, respect my only wish as the original author of this map.

Are you mentally handicapped?, I told you nearly 100 times that the entire project was centered around "open sourcing", for gods sake the original thread had "will be opened sourced" in the title, and was also mentioned 200000000000000000000000000 times in that same thread (where you have more than 30 of your posts in (ps. thats nearly a post every two pages))

if he does that,there will be no more reason to rip because all the good tags will be given to the public domain...

I can't figure out if that's a good thing or a bad thing :/

Uhh, zteam's maps have been ripped to hell and back, everyone is using the old h3mt-narrows leak, and cmt just released their tagset. I think 90% of the tags people wanted are already in the public domain.

I'm not really a fan of those h3mt tags aside from the mauler,but yeah this'll be that last 9 percent (the last 1 percent will be when cmt releases the rest of their tags)

besides, z team's were RIPPED not released, so that don't count, plus all the hcerippers are shut down so you can't get those,and H3MT's map was leaked which in my book counts as 1 for the Rippers, so really the only tags RELEASED are cmt's

They actually work somewhat well, as long as you jump to the center. I suggest to fix this, make an invisible cone (or collision or something) that directs you to the center of it so you'll get up every time.

a) Rippers aren't leakers
b) You just gave rippers an even more negative image, by portraying them as leakers
c) The leak of the H3MT Narrows canceled the public beta that WAS going to come out, which also negatively affects the rippers

I have the final bsp along with the textures on a usb drive, ill see if I can find it sometime this month.
