OK...so i am making a fixing a forerunner 3ds max model that i want to making into a piece of scenery in my map. But no matter how much i try to fix it...i get nothing but errors. I have run it through tool about.....10 times and still errors. I am using 3ds max 9 and Chimp 1.6, I am using Chimp 1.6 because when i use Bluestreak (by Ghost) 3ds max listener gives me this weird error. Something about unknown name, or something like that. But that's beside the point...can someone please give me some advise on how to fix all these errors once and for all?

Thanks

Videoman

PS: Here is the link to the model "http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=2707"
I was also going to use this model "http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=2708"
but i am thinking about not using it if i am getting all of these error from the first one.

We can't help fix the error if you don't tell us what the error is :V
And posting your debug.txt won't help. That only works for tag errors, this is a data error. Completely different.

If he was running it through Tool, you would think the error would show up in debug.txt

Your doing so much wrong...

You DON'T use the listener when using 3ds max, that's only for Gmax. Your base should NOT be a scenery, and instead should be part of the bsp.

Anyways...

Does it mess up in tool? or are you stuck exporting?

No! When i say listener, i am saying that (if i am correct) Ghosts Bluestreak exporter USES the 3ds max listener to export. Its like...If you have a ISO format file and you dont want to burn it to a disc, you use program to run the file through (like Virtual Clone Drive). Do you see what i am saying? THAT'S what Bluestreak does (at least i think so). Even when i DON'T have the check box for using the listener window, it still uses it. So anyways, about the base....even if i use it in my BSP, there will still be errors and problems to fix. So even if i did that i would still get the same results as if i made it a piece of Scenery.

Thanks

LOL chimp also uses 3ds max listener... but saves it instead of using the Gmax method.

Oh, I missed that part, sorry. I only saw that he was getting errors from blitzkrieg.
