We are Helipad Studios Developments, we have been creating Halo Custom Edition content for 3 years, and have not taken any bit of that knowledge in vain!

We had a brief meeting between Cody, Aaron, and myself, and decided to start HS back up, we also had decided to "reorganize" in a sense, so I hope you enjoy what we have to release!

Now, we are back with a new member, new projects, better planning, and new ideas!

To be honest, I dont even see how you guys come close to calling yourself a "Studio".

You have 4 people, one person doing all the modeling, and the rest doing these piss easy jobs, one that isn't even hard at all. If anything the work should be divided equally among you all and you all should actually learn the real basics of modeling and texturing and how this engine is handled.

:( i wanted to do teh modling, i wanted the thinges to be like i wanted :(

was to busy to realy work on a project i had thought of yesterday, so i'll do it sunday afternoon, heres to give u an idea




heres a start, no were near done, its basicly a slapped togheter post world war3 car :P

Alright, got some concept art done last night for our map, and gonna let Cody have a looksee into them when he gets online, I woke up at 7:20 for some reason o_0, well wakin up and seeing about maybe getting some more concepts done.

We should have something decent by the second week of this month or sooner.

I do textures, organizing just about everything we make (screenshots, models, maps, history, etc.), testing the maps (the entire team does this, and its fun!), etc.

I really liked that map in COD that had a house as the centerpiece, so this project has serious potential in my eyes.

At my house, but we do mods online =P.
I can do engineering at my house (drafting, CAD, concepts, floorplans, etc.), and also video/audio creation and editing (cameras, stands, editing, cropping, CGI, etc.).

Thats what Helipad Studios Developments is really meant for, but I decided to branch off and do a game modding section too.

theres nothing wrong w/ calling your self a Studio

How can you call your map a Project? it has to meet certain Boundaries too you know.

Searsioly hi guy wtf happend to you. you used to be cool now your just flaming anything and everything thats being made.

No offence here, but we should either ignore the flaming, or disprove it using facts that are real. Lets keep this from going any further, he has a lot to learn, yes, still very young, but this is a team thread, please stay on topic, this goes for everyone.

alrighty ppl, the last few days was spent finishin the basic house structure and optimizing it triangle by triangle. the actual house, not including doors/windows/kitchen/bath/fixtures is 1460 triangles, with all the fillings and goodies, its 8000. i plan on making the "goodies" as one big scery and place it in the center of the house and hope it lines up perfectly. since colision models dont add to the poly count, mabey once i create the colision model, i can cut out the un seen triangles in the scenery model, such as the back side of the cabinets, under and ontop of the doors, etc, bring the poly for that down by mabey 1-2k

yes, its just a base, and its size is scaled corectly to master chief, why else whould i model the roof and extiror walls

that was one of my plans, to have tunnels with hidden entrences that lead all over maps, one moment you'll find ur self in the basement, next thing u'll know, ur in the middle of the woods in the back of a rusty van
