I am making a new map on CE where you play as a Halo 3 grunt. (Thanks L283023 ). But being a newb at making maps, I've run into some problems:

-How do I make the grunt's armor change color according to team color? - Fixed
-How can I make the grunt use every weapon and vehicle? - Fixed
-How can I switch the flashlight button for a 'taunt' button? - Never mind

Thanks guys for all your help. Even though my map didn't live up to what I thought it would be, I will release a stable alpha, open, so others can edit it. Really, all this map is, is playing as a H3 grunt for all the grunt maniacs out there.

1. Make a Multipurpose map.
2. Make animations.
3. Scripts

And @bco
You have to download the maps manually from this site to play them.

Multiplayer tag. Do I have to change the Halo 1 tag? If so, I'll remember to make a backup H1 Grunt.

Take the Halo 3 grunt biped tag, open it. At the very top, under model animations, replace just that with the multiplayer grunt's animations. Everything will work out happily after that.

Thanks! Also, does anyone have any decent grunt fp hands and an 'invisible' hud? And if possible could you use the h3 grunt's hands? Sorry if I seem like I'm not doing any work myself on the map, but I'm very new to all this so I don't know how to do much.

I'm guessing he doesn't want a HUD at all, so he's asking for a HUD that isn't visible at all.

just remove the unit_hud_interface* on the grunt biped, as well as all the weapons/vehicles he is going to be using

*Note, too lazy to check if thats the right word for it

Okay, well I fixed the HUD up but I'm leaving the cross hair and the ammo counter in. It would be nice to see some more FP hands on halomaps. (Preferably h3 grunt ones? )
