You can't match the lighting from the h3 banshee to h1. Also the tutorial is pretty low lighting and I tried to find the brightest place to screenshot. It should be fine in other maps, it isn't uploaded to halomaps yet anyways.

Banshee looks fantastic. I can't wait to take it out for a spin and it's inspiring enough to try and change the light_volumes at the ends of the wings to blue. Hurray for Motivation!

looks ok

needs to be alot lighter, even in darker area's. try using a better cubemap.

It's the map, put it on a different map, and it's brighter. + Make it a TAD bit shiny with cubemaps. Maybe also change the red jet lights to blue?

He didn't make the custom projectile(s) for the banshee, and i guess the lens flares either.

I've put it on Death Island to see how it'd look in sunshine. Not that much different and it even looks a bit cell-shaded with the cube and fake-bump maps. I think if you would have called it anything but Halo 3 Banshee, people would be gawking and saying it was one of the best Banshee's they have ever seen.

Stop complaining about it. It's Jesse's decision, and his decision is final. I tend to go with whatever Jesse chooses mainly because

a) He's my superior
b) His choices always tend to be right
c) He always has some reason to back it up

And the reason why he chooses not to use this one for now, is because he has something special planned for you guys.

Is anyone else having collision model issues? The banshee will appear on the map, but projectiles go straight through it when you shoot at it.

That's just you dude. All it needs is the mp_banshee collision and with only one region, and not the one thats destroyed.

That's just you dude. All it needs is the mp_banshee collision and with only one region, and not the one thats destroyed.
