Scripting isn't something someone just "teaches" you to do. You won't understand or even get a feel for it until you write scripts of your own.


I already have written a few scripts:

Not exactly good, and I don't know if it even could work in a multiplayer map (tutorial; it compiled successfully). But if you think that's bad, you should have seen my first c++ code.

AGLion, that's a very very very simple script, look at the ones I go over in my tutorial and compare the complexity. :)

I know mines simple :P, it just that I don't wanna torture myself by creating a big long script from my little knowledge and get flamed for doing so. It's better than the sv_say "HELLO WORLD" script.

I still needa see if mine works, but tool is being a female dog.

Lol, skidrow, you're going to want to get rid of that (begin at the start of the script, there's no need for it for the kind of script your using.

Like I said that's first script. The tut I read said I should put it so I did. Now adays I don't put "(begin" in the script.

It would have passed over Gamma's version and never came back. The 45 tells the game how much time between every check of the condition.

No, as long as the biped has the name super_marine and has health, the script will recognize it.
