In the material name, have the @ symbol. This tells the engine to have that geometry as non-renderable geometry.

You can also use the +playerclip material. I can't remember exactly but the official HEK tutorial covers it in part 2 of level creation.

The material is called player_clip*
The * makes it collsion only.
Also, if you want to make invisible walls in an existing map without the ability to modify geometry, use the blast_door_collison scenery in bungie's tags.

Well i dont know what u mean by putting +sky to a material. I dont use gmax yet. After 11th of december if it works on my computer then i will use custom stuff.
