Let's say that you're a mercenary and you are trapped in the middle of a covenant vs flood vs human war, and since you are a mercenary you don't have any allies you stand alone. So the questions are what are the 2 weapons that you would choose to wield? And what armor would you wear? Extra Features are just for fun.

Your choices are:

Weapons:

Ma5c AR with extended magazine and a higher rate of fire.
BR55 (yes the one from Halo 2 not Halo 3) with an optional burst or semi-automatic firing system.
Covenant Carbine with MARS reflex sight and a plasma grenade launcher.
DMR with suppressor Red Dot sight and a master key attatchment.
Ma37 AR with Grenade launcher, red dot sight, and extended magazines.
SMG with Dual magazines and an optional red dot sight just like the one from Halo 3:ODST.
BR55HB SR (the one from Halo 3) with red dot sight grip suppressor and grenade launcher.
M90 CqC shotgun with grip.
Beam Rifle with an optional battery pack.
Sniper Rifle System 99D-S2 with suppressor thermal scope and rain forest camouflage.
M6G magnum with extended magazine.
M6R revolver-magnum hybrid with suppressor.
M4L Rocket launcher with tracking system and an optional double scope.
Spartan Laser with thermal scope.
Plasma Launcher with double scope.
Fuel Rod Gun with extended fire duration.
Energy Sword with optional Dual wield.
Gravity Hammer.
Plasma Pistol with delay time charged projectiles.
Plasma Rifle with extended firing duration.
Plasma Repeater with MARS sight.
Needle Rifle with extended slugs and enhanced reflex sights.
Portable Mini-MAC gun.
Brute Spiker with molten hot projectiles.
Brute Shot with extended clips.
Brute Mauler with optional dual wield.
MAC strike designator.
Concussion Gun.
Machete with optional dual wield
MG32 LMG with anti-overheat system and extended clips.
MA5K with suppressor, extended magazines, and grenade launcher.
Plasma Spitfire Machine gun with anti-overheat system.
Focus Rifle with extended firing duration and extended batteries.
XBR55 with dual magazines, suppressor, and red dot reflex sight.
Fist of Rukt.
Sentinel Beam with optional dual wield.
Over Charged energy sword with optional usage of "the force".
Flame Thrower with anti-overheat system.
TM37 Particle Bazooka.

Armors:

Mark 5 with extended shield capacity and with optional sprint armor ability.
Mark 6 with extended shield capacity, extended ammo capacity, and evade armor ability.
EOD with extended shield capacity, extended ammo capactiy, and ground pound.
EVA with sprint, evade, jet-pack, and extended ammo capacity.
Rogue with sprint, Cloak, and extended shield capacity.
Security with ground pound, extended shield capacity, and faint ability.
Hayabusa with cloak, sprint, hologram and extended shield capacity.
ODST with cloak, sprint, and extended ammo capacity, with man 'o war ability.
Ranger with extended ammo capacity and shield capacity.
Arbiter with extended shield capacity and ammo capacity and sprint ability.
Elite minor with extended shield capacity and ammo capacity.

Extra Features:

117's will: Harder to kill, with fists of steel and an AI to alert you of incoming enemies.
Noble Team's child: Hyper Lethal, no AI but it's going to be a blood bath.
Golden Dog Tags: Applies a Kill registry feature to your armor.
The Covenant's Pride: Harder to kill, able to call in reinforcements(elites and grunts only).
NooBesity: you explode when you die, and you have last stand.
Golden Gift: 1 hit is a kill with or without shields... everyman has a weakness.


The ammo will be unlimited since there will be ammo crates and recharge stations around the map. I also Updated the options because I was too tired to continue last night :P

You choose your destiny.

pp to drain shields
carbine for headshot.

Are we able to repickup depletable weapons or if we run out of energy are we stuck?

if so, replace pp with needler

Energy sword for close range silenced weapon as to not attract attention.
DMR for somewhat of a long range weapon.

My first thought was: who cares?
I WOULD pick dual smgs, but one smg from ODST and a socom magnum is better.

Most popular choice seems to be the noob-combo.
I'd choose the AR for flexibility with its grenade launcher, and a Portable Mini-MAC when I need crowd control.

BR55/DMR/plasma rifle for primary. Interchangeable, depending on situation and ammo occurance. Having an assault weapon is usually prudent for most situations.

M4L rocket launcher/splazer/fuel rod gun/plasma launcher (in order of preference, first being M4L), for secondary. Deference given to M4L due to general relative effectiveness against vehicles. Interchangeable, depending on situation and ammo occurance. When things get tough, a little surprise is a good idea.

Since there's flood that makes a shotgun a must; so I'll take the M90.
Tempted to take the DMR since it has masterkey which would eliminate the need for a secondary shotgun, dunno though. I'd probably go with DMR and M90.

M90 and plasma rifle would probably be the smartest combo for taking out covies and flood.

Plasma rifle damages shields on elites fast, and burns flood skin at a good rate.
Shotgun is needless to explain if you are fighting flood, and is also useful against elites if you are close enough.

True about fighting flood; I guess shotgun is a must. But I still like my dual smgs for the same reason. Depends on how many shells or rounds you have.

I'd choose ODST but i dunno what Man'o war is.
Extra features: what's golden gift? is it like omnipotent? if yes, i choose it, along with a non-overheat chaingun and GL MA37.

Man 'o war is a back draft ability. It makes your enemy's bullets bounce when they hit you.
(of course for a limited amount of time.)

Golden Gift is a one hit is a kill ability, that means if you hit an enemy even with just a single shot he will be killed.
