Please don't ask why I am on 2010 either.

Question preanswered. It is because I have a legit copy and it makes me feel good. That is why.

I've been wanting to do a few animations and such but I don't know of any exporters *sigh* other than those that would work for max 8 and down.

CAD's Animation Exporter works with all versions of 3ds Max. I use it to export my animations from Max 2011.

Yup. I got it working. I still have a few things to learn about animating though. Anyone recommended a REALLY good tutorial or any type of aid?

you should study animation in general, and then apply what you've learned to what you're trying to animate. don't just focus on one thing, that doesn't build up versitility

I recommend looking over "The Animator's Survival Kit"

References. Just watch things move. Look at how people move their arms when the fire guns. Look at how they hold things. Animation is about catching the motion, there are som many minute details that need to be added or everything will just look off.

Do you mean like, animating and putting in game (exporting, what to name the files, etc) or just like, to get the technique of animating?
