that question you asked covers many different things.
you need to be a bit more specific.
like if you needed help adding tags,spawn points,ai,vehicles etc.

Easiest way would be to backup your entire Campaign maps directory into a sub folder called backup. Then you can mod without worry.

Or you can make individual backups of only the maps you have modded, that way you know which ones have been modded by which has a backup file also (or the last modified date).


You would save the maps in the same place they already exist.

By mods do you mean the tools to modify your maps or do you mean the modified version of the map?



A mod typically represents the .map file itself (which has been somehow modifed).
