A Just Cause 2 grapple Hook would be epic. It would go well with medium sized complex maps, urban or...floating platforms.
What i mean is would it be possible to make a grapple hook that when you shoot it at something within a certain range, it attaches then drags the player to the attached point. Not dual hooking

I doubt the plausibility and/or the possibility of implementing it.

You could make a weapon that fires a rope with ladder physics. One end would anchor to the target, and the other would drop and secure itself at the player's feet. But the rope would disappear after a few seconds.

No, man cannons just through you into the air but the grapple hook pulls you to wherever its connected to

That could work, but you have no control over how far you fly.

I made a pretty good grapple weapon, but I broke it trying to make it more acurate lol. ill remake it when this college semester is done (I have been thinking of finishing a bunch of my old stuff while I have been laying in bed agonizing about my wisdom teeth where removed.. the agony, rawwwwr)

So, as long as you don't mind waiting till end of april/may-ish, one will be on the way then (as long as I don't forget) but I can tell you its entertaining when you have AI chasing you lol.

ill have to look over it to see how I controlled the flight length, but it was pretty good (originaly it worked 50% of the time, now after attempting to make it more acurate, it instead went down to 15% acuracy lol)

Actualy it does if you shoot at any wooden texture it will launch you up there. in the new update any way it does.

That would be cool. How about a non moving just cause 2 grapple reticule to go with it?
