How does 90mm of Tungsten strike you?

Posted: May 24, 2011 02:09 AM    Msg. 1 of 18
Hello

I'm struggling to make a new batch of bipeds and also AI actor varients for the Spartans. I can change wwhat weapon they hold, but I can't change the armour colour on them. If anyone out there knows how to do so. Please tell me how to do so, for I have a feeling that that there is no Tutorial on how to do so. Thanks

Also, if that doesn't work, leave it set up that way and go into the shader of the part you want to change colors on the biped. If you scroll down a ways, you should see "change color source" or something similar. Just put the letter of whatever color change you want that shader to use from the biped tag.

So the end result of that is, say for a Spartan, I can have the Halo 2 Armour config on a Halo CE Spartan without having to get a different biped?

If you have Windows 7, you can use the snipping tool.
Or if you have Xfire, you can get the biped in-game, and take a snapshot using xfire.

Will it work if I want to change sentinel beam color from red to something else like green?

That looks like it was done by modifying the reflected light color in the shader tag for the armor. I don't personally like it, but eh, if you want to do it that's how it's done.

TCK can you explain please, because I can't find it?

And, I've tried change colour block for everything in AI tag and my sentinel is still "metal" looking, not gold:(

Dude, It isn't the actor varient that you don't touch, It's the biped. You look at earlier posts before this one, and you'll see what I mean.

Open the gbxmodel of the unit you're trying to change, then scroll all the way down to the last block, shaders. Find the shader for its metal and open it. Then scroll all the way down in the shader, and you can edit the reflected light properties.

Ah, thanks a lot.
What about sentinel laser's color? I want it white, like in H2 :P
