Your Future Hinges upon This Fight!!!

B.O.W. combat data

Flood boss: giant bat fly thingy
size: big
status: deceased
info: shoots beams, slashes

area 54 boss: you are a toy in his world
size: small
status: deceased
info: he runs around

colleseum boss:
he guided you to death but you escaped that
size: small
status: deceased
info: just kill him


Now these are just some of the memorable and creative boss encounters that we have here on halo maps.
I find it more interesting if most of the fireteam maps or bloodgultch campaigns had some sort of boss creature

it would enhance the fun put into a map

you dont really need to make up a character entirely

most mods from other games contains encounters from other games

wesker(yours truly)(dodges a lot, shoots you very little, may rush at you to melee)
oroborros(a big slow gushy tank following you go find a flamethrower)
pyramid heads(horror games get alot of attention)(slow attack in succession, recovery time is slow,1 hit kill, play with in a small room :3)
liquid snake (smg,revolver, perhaps hell ride a metal gear, his punches hurt,tactical hides alot and shoots from cover)
l4d TANK(RUN)
bowser(avoid his shell attacks and flamethrowers, aim for the head)
guilty spark(FOR AVERY JOHNSON! i think that we should try simulating boss battles from other halo series that would be a cool idea itll be a short campaign mod)
gravemind (aim for the weak spots and avoid getting hit or grabbed)
list goes on...

im not trying to say dilute halo

but this would make maps more funner if we had more bosses in our maps

just another set of ideas to expand what we do

wicked video matt! the music set it off most for me but the ay the enemies spawn and the enemies that appeared wasn't very boss like then again it was only a test

if you like resident evil than you're in luck for my first mod/map is going to be based on resident evil its in the design process atm i will work on models soon i would like to make a new thread for this but it wouldnt be that great since i cant post images yet

One time i made a fire breathing 25 foot elite. Thats all I have made for Bosses.

it has its boss health bar, it changes strategies depending on how much remaining health aswell as new moves, etc. Really should finish that metroid SP level.. oh well.

i noticed your other thread kirby where you offered your skills to people thats very kind of you ^u^

your boss health meter is very appealing.


the flood boss bat thingy is from a flood sp map i played back then you fight on a covenant ship with flooded with floods
