if you have already finished the map then why dont you just relese it today

Logistics... look it up.

Would be cool to release E1 earlier than 2 though. I don't think I'll be replaying 1 once 2 comes out just for some minor bug fixes. Unless they've really done an overhaul of it.
I have to admit replaying the entire campaign 1 & 2 was worth it as the story flows much better with the revised cutscenes in episode 1 and makes episode 2 that much better.

Logistics?
Context clue says that has nothing to do with releases.
Logic says that I'm clueless.
Let's see... (looks up logistics)

I don't see what logistics has to do with this.

He's talking about getting the map properly compiled, checked, uploaded, approved, ect.

You can't just compile what you think is the final product and upload it to mediafire and say "derp here gaiz."

THATS considered logistics?

I would say that would be considered polishing/fixing, but Logistics?

Dennis is trying to say that, logically the TM mapping team is waiting for their set due date for Lumoria Episode 2. Instead of just releasing it on the day they finished.

Why do so many people keep spelling excited wrong?

Exited - "I exited the bar after beer 30 was over"
Excited - "Jimmy was excited to see his pet turtle after so many weeks."

Lol... yeah. xD

I try not to be a jackass about grammar and stuff, but I've seen that word spelled wrong over and over; it's just annoying.

Buuuuuuut anyways,

Looking forward to the release!

You probably got inappropriate memes because you spelt "excited" wrong. I can easily imagine what kind of memes come up when you search for "I'm so exited". :/

Dennis is trying to say that,

logistics - plural of lo·gis·tics (Noun)
Noun:
1) The detailed coordination of a complex operation involving many people, facilities, or supplies.

2) The organization of moving, housing, and supplying troops and equipment.

What I am saying is that it takes time to prepare a solid and reliable delivery system for this highly anticipated and large file download. I have committed to allow the files to be downloaded separately and as a bundle in a single archive. I also said I would do my absolute best to make them available on Friday the 5th. (EST)

Time is required to re-archive all the files, mirror them to the file download servers and get them listed in the web site archive with pictures and descriptions. The TM team needs time to prepare their information and transfer the files to us. The map files alone are nearly a gig in size and the archived size for the bundle will be about half that. If they were to host it as a sole download point on their website after about 50 or so downloads they will have reached the maximum standard bandwidth limit of most website hosing services and either be shut down or incur additional costs as what happened to the CMT team a number of years back when they released their campaign files. One of the reasons I established this website was to prevent that scenario from occurring as it use to do on a regular basis with other Halo CE websites.

So to sum up there is a detailed coordination of a complex operation involving many people attempting to deliver the Map files for this campaign to your PC's in a reliable and timely manner. "Logistics"

My iPad corrected it oddly, I should turn that off, but why does it change it if its wrong.

Also Congrats on the awesome release.

Ah, thank you. I'm not in the map business, so I would have no idea. Thats also interesting with the use-up of internet, I never knew that was a problem.

I always thought this site was made so the floating-metal-bowling-ball god Dennis would have something to do. He is, as we all know, omnipotent and omnipresent, so he gets most activities done quickly.

I'm sorry but I just have to say this though everyone is praising lumoria, but the savestate distances are absolutely huge. I would think that after going through 2 or 3 hordes of people, and having a tunnel, a savegame would be there at the noncombatant zone. I noted the same type of issue in EP 1 in a few spots. Just saying that when you are a half mile down that path from your last savestate and come to a new zone with different encounters especially if the encounter involves a lot of very difficult opponents, it may be pertinant to have had a savestate before that instead of having to do the 2 or 3 hordes you killed a half mile back again. That's sort of tedious especially if the only reason you got boned was because of a lucky stick in the heat of battle.
